Session two- Day 6
Even though God spoke to Moses almost 3300 years ago, God’s word in the Ten Commandments is not in the past tense. God’s word continues to live; it has the power to change our lives. God’s gift of the Ten Commandments also comes with the gift of God’s power, the power of the Holy Spirit, to help us obey and enjoy the commandments.
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” Jesus said to the disciples, “I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE.” Jesus promised his followers, “I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS.” Make your own list of I AM statements describing yourself.
